Terms of Service

By accessing or using NyayaVeda AI at www.nyayaveda.co.in, you unconditionally accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Abhay Tripathi (operating as NyayaVeda AI, hereinafter "we", "us", "Company").

You must be: (a) at least 18 years old; and (b) either a legal practitioner, a law student under professional supervision, or a legal professional engaged in research.

NyayaVeda AI provides AI-generated legal research summaries only. This explicitly includes but is not limited to:

• AI-generated analysis of court judgments and statutes
• Document analysis of uploaded PDFs
• Export of AI-generated reports in PDF/DOCX format
• Judge analytics based on indexed judgments

NONE of the above constitutes legal advice. We expressly disclaim any responsibility for any action taken or not taken based on NyayaVeda AI outputs.

By using this Service you agree that before citing, relying on, or acting upon ANY NyayaVeda AI output you will:

1. Verify all cited cases exist on official legal databases
2. Confirm all section numbers against the official bare act text
3. Check that cited judgments have not been overruled or modified
4. Confirm the law cited has not been amended or repealed
5. Obtain independent professional legal advice before acting on any research

Failure to cross-verify and any resulting harm is entirely your responsibility. The Company bears no liability whatsoever for any reliance on unverified AI output.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE INDIAN LAW:

• The Company, its operators, employees, and agents shall have zero liability for any errors, inaccuracies, hallucinations, or omissions in AI-generated outputs
• Zero liability for any legal outcomes, court decisions, or consequences resulting from use of NyayaVeda outputs
• Zero liability for loss of income, business opportunity, or reputation arising from reliance on the Service
• Zero liability for service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures
• Zero liability for any hallucinated or fabricated case citations produced by the AI model

The Company's total maximum aggregate liability for any and all claims shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 30 days prior to the claim arising. This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

If you do not accept this limitation of liability, you must immediately stop using the Service and are not permitted to use it.

You expressly acknowledge and accept that NyayaVeda AI:

• May generate incorrect, outdated, or entirely fabricated ("hallucinated") case names, citations, and legal positions
• Has a knowledge cutoff and may not reflect recent amendments to BNS/BNSS/BSA 2023 or subsequent legislation
• Cannot predict how any specific court or judge will rule
• May misidentify applicable jurisdictional law
• Is not a substitute for a qualified advocate's professional judgment

You must verify your email address within 7 days of account creation. Unverified accounts will have restricted access.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at abhaytripathi@nyayaveda.co.in of any unauthorized access.

One account per person. Multiple accounts created to circumvent plan limits will be permanently banned.

The following limits apply to all plans:

• Query length: Maximum 5,000 characters per query (Research & Legal Chat)
• Daily queries: Free: 10/day, Pro: 100/day, Ultra: 500/day, Enterprise: 2,000/day (resets midnight IST)
• Document upload: PDF max 10 MB, Image max 5 MB. Each document analysis counts as 1 daily query
• PDF page limits: Pro: 10 pages, Ultra: 20 pages, Enterprise: 50 pages per document
• Rate limiting: Per-IP and per-user rate limits enforced. Excessive automated requests will result in temporary lockout

Limits are subject to change with 7 days' notice via email. Current limits are always displayed in the dashboard.

You may not use NyayaVeda AI to:

• Fabricate, misrepresent, or present AI outputs as verified legal authority in any court or legal proceeding without cross-verification
• Submit automated bulk queries, scrape API responses, or reverse-engineer the AI system
• Upload documents containing personal data of third parties without their consent
• Circumvent subscription limits or share account credentials
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates Indian law or professional legal practice rules

Pricing: Free (₹0), Pro (₹499/mo or ₹3,999/yr), Ultra (₹2,999/mo or ₹24,999/yr). Prices are in INR. GST invoicing coming soon.

Billing: Processed via Razorpay. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges.

Cancellation: Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. Access continues until billing period end.

Refund Policy: All subscription fees are non-refundable. NyayaVeda AI is a professional research platform — access to the AI engine and corpus is granted immediately upon payment. The free plan is available to evaluate the platform before subscribing. See our full Refund Policy for the narrow technical exceptions (duplicate charges, platform-wide outages exceeding 72 hours).

Invoices: Payment receipts are emailed automatically after each successful payment. GST invoicing (HSN 998314) is coming soon.

The NyayaVeda AI platform, its AI pipeline, prompts, and technology are proprietary to Abhay Tripathi / NyayaVeda AI and protected under Indian IP law.

Court judgments and statutes in the research corpus are in the public domain.

AI-generated research outputs may be used by you for your legal practice. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute NyayaVeda outputs as a service.

Our Privacy Policy at www.nyayaveda.co.in/legal/privacy governs all data handling.

Zero-Retention Protocol: Uploaded documents are deleted from memory immediately after analysis. We do not train on your data.

Cookies: We use only essential cookies for authentication (Firebase session token). No advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies are used.

Data Processing: Queries are processed by enterprise-grade AI infrastructure operating in India data centres (Mumbai region). Your query text is sent to these providers for inference only — not for model training. Specific provider details are disclosed in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, contact us at abhaytripathi@nyayaveda.co.in to attempt resolution within 30 days.

Enterprise customers (law firms, corporate legal departments) must execute a separate Enterprise Services Agreement before using NyayaVeda for client matters.

Enterprise agreements include additional confidentiality protections and SLA commitments. Contact abhaytripathi@nyayaveda.co.in for enterprise pricing.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The current version is always available at www.nyayaveda.co.in/legal/terms.

NyayaVeda AI operates as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We are not responsible for third-party content, external links, or the accuracy of publicly available legal texts in the corpus. We do not exercise editorial control over AI-generated outputs.

Outputs generated by the AI pipeline are not statements of NyayaVeda AI and do not represent our views on any legal matter.

NyayaVeda AI is a legal research tool, not a legal services provider. It does not engage in the practice of law and is not regulated by the Bar Council of India. Advocates using this platform must comply with the Advocates Act 1961 and the Bar Council of India Rules regarding professional conduct, including rules on advertising and client relationships.

This platform does not establish any advocate-client relationship and does not provide legal advice within the meaning of the Advocates Act 1961.

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, government orders, pandemics, cyberattacks, internet infrastructure failures, cloud infrastructure outages, or natural disasters. Service credits (if any) will be governed by the applicable SLA under an Enterprise Services Agreement.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and (where applicable) Enterprise Services Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and NyayaVeda AI regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.

No waiver of any breach of these Terms shall constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
